When it comes to water, Floridians largely are not aware of current issues such as the water wars between Florida and Georgia, nor the Apalachicola oyster collapse. Floridians believe water quality and quantity are important, and that water quality is getting worse. Floridians are willing to conserve — to a point. Illustrating pertinent findings from the UF/IFAS Center for Public Issues Education’s public opinion survey, the infographic earned Bronze Award at the Association for Communication Excellence national conference in 2015.
